Skin Deep Part I of III
Beauty isn't skin deep but beautiful skin certainly makes us look and feel great! Many factors in our everyday lives can have an impact on our skin; from what we put in and on our bodies to the elements we face daily that we have no control over.

Has anyone ever told you that you are a beautiful person on the inside as well as out?? True beauty really does come from within. If you are not receiving the proper nutrients, taking care of your mental and physical states or getting enough sleep, it will eventually start to show on your skin.

The skin is the body's first line of defense AND the biggest organ we have. Take care not to drench it with chemicals and protect it the best you can and start now!

First Let's talk about just a few of the things you can do:

*Hydrate from the INSIDE! Our bodies are made up mostly of water so naturally we have to keep it fueled with what it needs. You wouldn't put motor oil in a gas tank as fuel so try to cut down on the liquids that hinder more than help. Water is very important, we can't stress that enough. Summer is almost here and that means drink even more water! Ask us about our natural water purifying systems.

*Get the amount of quality sleep YOUR body requires. The length of sleep needed is different for every person. It may take you a little while to figure out how much sleep your body responds best to.

Quality of sleep is as important if not more important than length of sleep. If you are stressed out, thinking too much, in pain or just plain can't sleep that is a sign that something is out of whack. Before reaching for over the counter sleeping aids try some natural approaches.

Exercise is very important to help us sleep and help our skin look and feel great. When we sweat we push toxins out of the pores in our skin and release hormones that make us feel good and can help us to sleep. A minimum of 30 minutes of exercise can do wonders for our body and health.

On that same breadth relaxing is also extremely important and beneficial. Meditation, stretching and taking time doing things you really enjoy are just a few examples of how to learn to relax.

Supplements can be a very helpful addition to your daily regime. Always check with your physician before starting anything new to make sure you are helping your body in the best ways you can. Remember that some supplements can be contradicting with medications or ailments.

Come on in and ask us about Chamomile, Bachs Remidies, Melatonin, Triptofan and other options we have to help you achieve restful nights.

Stay tuned for next month's newsletter where we will discuss what you can put INSIDE your body to make your OUTSIDE positively radiant!!
